This one is really neat!
Does a big mess keep you from doing art projects? Here is an idea I came up with recently as I am beginning to implement the "Workbox System" into my home.
You can make up a workbox (plastic tote) for a particular kind of craft or art method.
Like watercolor painting, coloring in colorbooks, stencils, scrapbooking, lapbooking, etc.
One craft per workbox.
If you do this then all the supplies needed for that activity are there. Make sure the scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils or whatever are all in there- whatever is required to that art activity! The child just goes to retrieve the workbox and will not need to search for this and that! The bonus is that it makes it really easy to clean up and put away too!

A Journey Through Learning
A lesser known lapbook company, AJTL has a free download page for everyone to enjoy and therefore people will share the link and, in turn, promote their website! Good trick! Anyway, here ya' go. Have fun!

This link is an information and how-to page. Jimmie is a homeschool mommy and has rounded up lots of advice, photos and even a video to help you on your lapbooking journey.
Fabulous lapbook freebies every Monday afternoon and then many times in between. Not every week is a lapbook for free, but there is a great freebie every week. Often you will get a free Hands Of A Child lapbook project pack or other great brand name.
If you subscribe to their emails, you will get special notices on their cool specials and even mega freebie weeks (or days). Every Mother's Day they have something like this and at other times during the year.
What on earth is a Ning?? Well, it is a website where a community of people shares their experience, files, information and encouragement! It is an interesting and valuable forum.
In this particular case, this Ning is a Lapbook Ning. It is fairly large! I recommend you make the effort to sign up to gain access to the community and help and files!
Lots of help, ideas and constant flow of links and sharing on these yahoogroups elists.

Useful in forms of lapbooking! Try this craft that teaches a simplified version of real bookbinding to give your students a taste of early American craftsmanship.
